SCHOFIELD, WI (WSAU) — One person was seriously injured in a crash involving a car and a personalized motor scooter in Schofield on Friday.
The crash happened at 11:40 AM near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Radtke Street. When officers arrived they found the driver of the vehicle providing first aid to the man on the scooter.
He was transported to a local hospital and is in intensive care, listed in extreme critical condition.
Officers say the driver of the vehicle remained on-scene and was cooperative throughout the initial investigation. They are not facing any charges or citations at this time.
No further information has been released, including the names of those involved.
