ST. PETERSBURG, FLA (MatroSource-WSAU) — The MilwaukeeBrewers won their series finale against the Tampa Bay Rays following a 6-4 victory from St. Petersburg.
Freddy Peralta got the win after surrendering three runs on five hits over six innings. William Contreras, Willy Adames and Rowdy Tellez each blasted solo homers for Milwaukee, which salvaged the three-game series.
The Brew Crew are still first in the NL Central at 25-and-21. The team opens a three-game series at home against the Astros tonight. Corbin Burnes gets the start while Houston counters with Cristian Javier.
