Jordan Love Warming Up - Forbes photo
GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Kurt Warner, a Hall of Fame quarterback, thoroughly examined new Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love’s tape to find out what fans should expect this upcoming season.
“You see with him there is a lot of good stuff with recognition, understanding a lot of the safety movement, etc. Obviously, there are some times when he tried to force the ball instead of letting the game come to him. Technique-wise, it can get away from him on the deeper balls thrown where they came out flat,” Warner said.

Love has had some impressive throws during OTAs and has caught the attention of Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs who says, “I think Jordan is a really good quarterback,” Doubs told SpectrumNews1. “When you go from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan, Aaron was a really great quarterback, but I believe Jordan can do the same exact thing. So I don’t really see what’s the big difference.”
According to a statement made on Wednesday by NFL Network, Jordan Love’s preseason debut on August 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals will be broadcast live to the entire country. The game will be one of 23 preseason games that NFL Network will broadcast live this summer.
