KRONENWETTER, WI (WSAU) – The Kronenwetter Administrative Policy Committee voted on Tuesday to begin searching for a recruitment firm to help fill their Village Administrator position.
The committee weighed their options when discussing the next steps for the position by looking over the job description to see if any updates were needed along with ensuring the pay remains competitive for the area.
Earlier this month the Board of Trustees voted to rescind an offer that had been made to candidate Bradley Hanson due to concerning factors in a background check.

The village is also without a Director of Public Works currently and the committee discussed if the position needed to be split up into two jobs due to the workload of the position.
After a brief discussion, the committee decided that they would leave the position as is for now while the search for candidates continues and possibly reexamine the duties of the position once a new Director is hired.
