Milwaukee Bucks
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks will begin their Summer League season against the Denver Nuggets and one notable player will no longer be joining the team.
Former second-overall pick Jabari Parker announced late last week that he would no longer be joining the team due to a family issue. Parker has played for five different teams since leaving the Bucks back in 2019 and it remains unknown where his career will go from here.
The team will now be turning to their two young draft picks Andre Jackson Jr. and Chris Livingston along with former Gonzaga star big man Drew Timme to carry the scoring load against a tough Denver team led by former Duke star Cassius Stanley.
Milwaukee will also feature one of the league’s top fan-favorite players in 7’6 center Tacko Fall and two-way guard Lindell Wigginton. Fall has played for two teams throughout his career and is hoping to earn a G-League deal with Milwaukee when Summer League ends later this month.
Tip-off tonight will be at 4 PM CST on ESPNU. The Bucks will also face the Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets, and Miami Heat and their record will decide if they move on to the next round for a chance to play in the championship game.
