MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks (2-0) played their 2021 Finals opponent, the Phoenix Suns (0-1) on Saturday night, after defeating the Denver Nuggets in their first summer league game.
On both ends, the Bucks’ start was once again difficult. Milwaukee scored four points in the first two minutes but then allowed the Phoenix to go on an 18-4 run over the next four and a half minutes, resulting in a 20-8 run. Despite this, the Bucks played harder in the second and third quarters to get back in the game and take a 67-63 lead into the 4th quarter.
From there, second-year player MarJon Beauchamp and rookie Andre Jackson Jr. took over, leading the Bucks to an 84-75 win.

The 2022 first-round pick finished with 20 points on 7-for-13 shooting and 1-for-3 from three-point range.
Despite only scoring six points, Jackson Jr. affected the boards with 11 rebounds, five of which were on the offensive glass. In his second game, he also added two assists and a steal.
