WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — A Mega Millions ticket that matched four white balls and the Megaball for Tuesday’s drawing was sold in Wisconsin Rapids.
Lottery officials say the ticket was sold at Kwik Trip at 4611 8th Street South and was one of two $10,000 winners sold statewide for Tuesday’s drawing. The other was sold in Sheboygan Falls.
The Sheboygan area also produced a $1 million winner on Tuesday. That ticket was sold at Pick n Save in Plymouth and matched all five white balls but not the Megaball.
Matching four of the five white balls and the Megaball is considered the game’s third prize. Matching all five white balls but not the Megaball wins the game’s second prize.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot sits at $560 million as of Wednesday evening, with a cash prize of $281 million. Should there be a rush on ticket sales, those numbers could climb before Friday night.
Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is worth $750 million, or $378 million in cash. Should that jackpot roll again there would likely be more than $1.5 billion in lottery jackpots up for grabs nationwide this weekend.
