Brewers drop two-of-three to Braves

MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU-MetroSource) – The Brewers dropped their series against the Braves after blowing a late lead in the finale from Milwaukee.

The Brew Crew held a 2-1 advantage in the eighth inning until Ozzie Albies crushed a three-run homer to give Atlanta a 4-2 lead. Raisel Iglesias struck out the side in the ninth inning to complete the comeback.

Elvis Peguero got the loss for the Brew Crew, which holds a half-game over the Reds for first place in the NL Central. Milwaukee battles Cincy at American Family Field tonight. Game coverage begins at 6:35pm on WSAU.
