MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Milwaukee Brewers 8-4 on Friday night at American Family Field.
The Pirates scored three runs in both the first and second innings and were never challenged after that.
Carlos Santana had a home run and two RBIs for Milwaukee while Mark Canha had three hits and an RBI. Colin Rea took the loss giving up six runs on eight hits in four innings of work.
The Brewers, now 59-52, remain in first place in the division and will play the Pirates again today… pre-game show at 5:35 on WSAU.
