MINOCQUA, WI (WSAU-WRN) — The owner of Minocqua Brewing Company has been given an extension to resolve permitting issues with Oneida County.
The Planning and Development Committee voted to give Kirk Bangstad 180 days to receive approval for his conditional use permit. Those involve adding a beer garden and additional parking.

This comes one week after county leaders ordered Bangstad to close the business by revoking an administrative review permit.
Bangstad has been involved in an acrimonious relationship with local officials, claiming they target him for his outspoken liberal political views.
