PLOVER, WI (WSAU) — A single-engine plane was forced to make an emergency landing on a Portage County Highway on Friday.
The State Patrol says it happened behind Wal-Mart along County Road R, near the HH intersection. Officers say the plane did hit a vehicle on its way down, but neither the driver of that vehicle nor the pilot were injured.
It’s unclear what forced the emergency landing. The Federal Aviation Administration will be investigating the incident.
The single-engine Cessna was registered out of Michigan.
