Artrageous Weekend in Wausau, WI
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – This weekend marks the return of North Central Wisconsin’s most prominent art festival.
The 34th annual ARTrageous Weekend will feature four separate venues, including Art in the Park, the Festival of Arts, the Center for the Visual Arts, and Birds in Art. Shuttle buses will be available to help people get to all the events.
The festival will feature artists from all over the world and is expected to see more than 70,000 visitors, according to Art in the Park Chairperson Gloriann Doyle.
Art in the Park will also feature a 50/50 raffle for the first time this year to help raise money for student scholarships.
The festival weekend will run through September 9–10, and admission to each of the events will be free.
