MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — A death at the Ironman triathlon in Madison.
Ironman Wisconsin has announced that a participant died during the triathlon on Sunday night.
Officials say a participant looked like they needed support in the bike portion of the race. An off duty police officer provided immediate medical assistance before the participant was taken by EMS to a hospital, where they died.
