TOWN OF PINE LAKE, WI (WSAU) — A woman is dead following an ATV crash Monday night.
According to a press release from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, the office received a 911 call at 7:30 p.m. of a vehicle and tree crash at 4253 Thunder Lake Rd. The call said there were two injured people from the accident and a semiconscious person.
When deputies arrived they found the ATV had been operated by 19-year-old Victoria Brewster of Illinois, with two passengers aboard the vehicle. All three occupants were transported to Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander. At the hospital, Brewster died of her injuries she sustained in the crash.
The DNR is investigating the ATV crash and no other information is available at this time.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Pine Lake First Responders, the Pine Lake Fire Department, Pelican First Responders, the Oneida County Ambulance Medic 1, and the Oneida County Medical Examiner’s Office in the response.
