GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers still believes in his former teammate Jordan Love despite back-to-back poor primetime performances.
After Green Bay’s 17-13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, Rodgers stated on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, that he texted Love after the game to encourage him. The New York Jets player continued by saying that although Love should be “just fine,” “growing pains” were unavoidable.
“I would just say to the Packers fans, take some deep breaths and trust this kid. He’s a great kid. He cares about it. He’s going to be around for a while and they are going to get it fixed,” Rodgers said.

Love was given a score of 53.0 by Pro Football Focus after he completed just two passes longer than 10 yards in the air and threw two interceptions out of clean pockets.
The Packers split their first two games as Love completed 29 of 52 passes for 396 yards and six touchdowns. Since then, his numbers have slightly decreased throwing for 687 yards, two touchdowns, and six interceptions over the last three weeks.
