Wausau, WI (WSAU)– On Saturday, a Wisconsin State Trooper from the Wausau Post stopped a speeding, blue, 2015 Chevrolet Cruz. The incident occurred on Sth 153 at Store Lane, near Bevent in Marathon County. When the driver was pulled over, the Trooper observed signs of impairment, which resulted in the driver taking a field sobriety test.
The test indicated that the operator of the vehicle, Terry Dennis Staszak, was under the influence. Terry, age 54, was then arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. This arrest led to the Hatley natives’ 4th OWI offense.
Previous court records indicate Stazak’s 3rd offense led to his conviction in September 2015. He spent 18 months on probation, along with serving 75 days in jail. An initial court appearance is set for tomorrow in Marathon County Circuit Court.
