TOWN OF SARATOGA, WI (WSAU) — A Saturday evening crash in Wood County injured three people.
Officers were called to the intersection of Highway 73 and County Road U at about 7:15. Investigators found that an eastbound vehicle on 73 was attempting to turn north onto the county road when it was struck by a westbound vehicle.
The eastbound vehicle rolled as a result of the crash.
Three people were injured as a result of the crash including the driver of the eastbound vehicle, who was identified as 26-year-old Deven Felber of Necedah. Both the driver and the passenger of the westbound vehicle were transported to Marshfield Medical Center for their injuries. They were identified as William and Sharon Ehr of Wild Rose.
No further information about the crash was released including whether alcohol or speed were factors. The Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and first responders from Saratoga, Wisconsin Rapids, and Rome all responded to the incident.
