MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) –A pair of shutdown closers were honored for their stellar MLB seasons yesterday.
Felix Bautista of the Orioles won the Reliever of the Year American League award, while Devin Williams of the Brewers took home the National League crown.
Bautista converted 33-of-39 saves for Baltimore last season and went 8-and-2 with a 1.48 ERA.
Williams was 36-of-40 in save opportunities for Milwaukee and sported an 8-and-3 record to go with a 1.53 Earned Run Average.
