CLEVELAND, OHIO (WSAU) — The Cleveland Cavaliers won their sixth straight game with a 135-95 thrashing of the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night.
The Bucks were without Giannis Antetokounmpo who was out with a bruised shoulder but it might not have mattered on this night.
The Cavs raced out to a 22-2 lead in under six minutes by hitting eight of their first nine shots. Bucks coach Adrian Griffin pulled his starters midway through the 3rd quarter.
Damian Lillard led Milwaukee with 17 points. Bobby Portis had 16 and Jae Crowder returned from the injured list with 15 points. It was Crowder’s first game of the season.
Milwaukee will face the Cavaliers twice next week in Milwaukee. They return to action Saturday night at Detroit.
