TOWN OF DEWHURST, WI (WSAU) — The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has officially released the names of those killed in last week’s crash near the intersection of State Highway 95 and County Road J.
They’ve been identified as:
James K. McCoy (driver), 46 years old
Linda Byler, 44
Lydia Byler 24
Orla Schrock, 24
Ellen Schrock, 23
Delila Schrock, 21
Suzanna Hertzler, 18
A 6-month-old-child
All eight of them were from Virginia. It’s unclear where they were heading.
A two-year-old boy was thrown from the van but survived. He has been released to his grandparents.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for the families to raise funds for their final expenses.
The crash occurred Friday morning near the intersection of State Highway 95 and County Road J in Clark County.
Officers add that the semi, driven by 51-year-old Daniel G. Liddicoat from Rewey, Wisconsin was hauling a tank that was one-quarter full of milk. He was also killed.
