STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A Portage County man who was facing nearly three dozen counts for possession of child pornography will spend five years in the state prison system as part of a 15-year sentence.
Corbyn Lorbiecki pled guilty to four of the 32 counts against him on Monday. A judge sentenced him to five years in prison and ten years on extended supervision. The charges stemmed from a tip regarding hundreds of child sex materials including photos and videos that were stored in a cloud drive.
Police in Plover say they received the tip in mid-July of 3023. They obtained a search warrant for his devices on July 17th and arrested the 27-year-old a few days later.
Officers also found images of Lorbiecki in the drive.
The 27-year-old was given credit for 220 days served in jail awaiting trial. He will also have to comply with the state’s sex offender registration program and will not be allowed any unsupervised contact with minor children for the duration of his probation.
