WAUSAU, WI (WAOW-WSAU)– Since the pandemic, pet shelters have been struggling with an overflow of animals, sometimes causing animal records to be overlooked.
Due to this, volunteer Jared Jones created the app PawPartner which is an easier way to keep track of animal activity and records.
“We were using paper logs so it was hard to tell which animal had been in their kennel for the longest without going through the pages,” said Jones.
Jones first created the app almost a year ago without any experience. He said that his love for animals motivated him to create a more organized atmosphere for them.
