WEYAUWEGA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Four people were injured after a wrong-way vehicle traveling on State Highway 10 in Weyauwega collided with another vehicle on Monday night.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office was called to the crash just before 8 pm in Weyauwega on Highway 10 where an eastbound car collided head-on with a westbound car.
A news release from the Waupaca County Sheriff’s office all three occupants in the eastbound car and one occupant in the westbound car were taken for medical treatment.
The release also said: The operator of the wrong-way vehicle was arrested on suspicion of operating while under the influence of intoxicants causing injury, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, and operating without a valid driver license causing injury.
The crash remains under investigation.
