While discussing his top platform issues, Sillars says focusing on reviewing Gov. Evers’s recently vetoed bills and seeing which ones voters in the district would like to see reintroduced would be a high priority for him saying, “I think our residents defiantly want to look at the different tax cuts including the ones that he vetoed that would’ve helped retirees and there also a couple that involves school board such as professional licensing things that I think need to be looked at again cause we have a shortage of teachers.”
