MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers will be receiving much-needed help for the upcoming 2024 season after they landed a key transfer portal commitment on Friday night.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, transfer wide receiver Joseph Griffin Jr. from the Boston College Golden Eagles has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers.
Griffin Jr., a former four-star recruit, had 18 catches for 234 yards and five touchdowns as a freshman, which he followed up with 25 catches for 345 yards and one score in his sophomore season.
Griffin joins a wide receiver room that includes young players still looking to breakout, such as former USC receivers C.J. Williams and Quincy Burroughs, and returning starters Will Pauling and Bryson Green.
