MIAMI, FLA (WSAU) — The Miami Marlins pushed across runs in the 9th and 10th innings to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2 on Monday night.
With the Brewers leading 2-1 in the bottom of the 9th Nick Gordon singled and stole second. He scored on a bloop single from Otto Lopez to tie the game.
The Brewers had runners on second and third with one out in the 10th but didnt score. Josh Bell drove in the game winner for the Marlins in the 10th. Mitch White took the loss.
Andrew Monasterio had a solo homer for the Brewers. Christian Yelich scored on a rare straight steal of home. Brewer starting pitcher Joe Ross left the game after the first inning with back problems.
The Brewers, now 27-20, face the Marlins again tonight. Pre Game show at 5:05 on WSAU.
