PARIS (Reuters) – Stellantis on Wednesday said no additional recalls were planned over faulty airbags from a supplier after newspaper Le Parisien reported the carmaker was set to widen recalls for some Citroen models produced between 2009 and 2019.
There is no further upcoming recall action planned at the moment, a company spokesperson said.
Le Parisien reported Stellantis was set to recall cars of its C4, DS4 and DS5 series, in addition to the CS3 and DS3 models already concerned for cars used in the southern part of France, as the airbag issues were linked to hot weather.
Stellantis said “We cannot rule out further precautionary recalls in the future.”
