WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – The Man of Honor Society is hosting its 20th annual fundraiser on Friday, June 7th, through Sunday, June 9th, with some big prizes available to be won and musical guests each day.
According to a press release, the admission-free event is done each year to support area veterans who are struggling with rising costs due to inflation and will be held at Wausau’s Eagle’s Club, located at 1703 S. Third Ave. in Wausau.
Man of Honor Society President Jeff Morgan laid out some of the weekend’s activities, including a fireworks show on Saturday night, which will be their best yet, saying, “We have an absolutely awesome fireworks display set up for this year because this year is our 20th anniversary, so we went all out to make it really special.”
The musical guests will include Honky Tonk Highway on Friday night, Knock Point on Saturday night, and the Polish Connection on Sunday afternoon, which will follow a two-piece chicken dinner with all sides for just $5 that begins at 11 and goes until it runs out.
