TOWN OF EASTON, WI (WSAU) — The victims of a double shooting incident in the Town of Easton have been identified.
Patrick J. Eppolite, 63, and 53-year-old Valerie J. McCarthy were found dead from gunshot wounds on May 28th. Officers say the shooting was related to domestic violence, adding both were living in the home.
Officials were alerted to the incident by a neighbor who noticed a person sitting in a vehicle on the property overnight. They requested a welfare check when they realized the person hadn’t moved or changed positions in the vehicle for several hours.
Officers add that the investigation has concluded and no further information will be released.
