Fatal Fire
NECEDAH, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A house fire in Juneau County early Sunday morning killed six individuals, including three adults and three children.
According to a statement from the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, the Juneau County Communications Center received a call of a house fire in the 5000 block of Morros Mile Road in Necedah.
There were people gathered in the driveway and the house was completely engulfed in flames when first responders arrived.
The individuals in the driveway informed the deputies that three adults and three children, totaling six persons, were still inside. According to the release, firefighters battled the fire for three hours and stayed on the site for twelve hours, during which time the six family members perished in the fire.
The fire appears to be an accident, but the investigation will remain ongoing.
