(WTAQ-WLUK) — After shots were fired at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, Wisconsin politicians are offering support to the former president.
After the incident, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers posted on X saying in part “My thoughts are with President Trump and all of the folks attending today’s rally in Pennsylvania.” His full response:
Republican Sen. Ron Johnson posted on X saying “Pray for President Trump. Pray for America.”
Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin also reacted on X, saying in part, “Violence of this kind is never acceptable and I condemn it in the strongest of terms.”
