FRIENDSHIP, WI (WSAU) — An inmate has died at the Adams County Jail.
First responders were called to the facility on Monday at 6:00 PM to find an unresponsive man. Both jail deputies and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the inmate died.
The man’s name has not been released. Outside agencies are investigating his cause of death.
Officials add that the man had been transferred to the Adams County Jail from another county and was being held as a sentenced inmate.
