WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau Woodchucks split a doubleheader with the Madison Mallards on Wednesday, winning 3-0 and losing 6-2.
In the win Grant Siegel pitched seven innings with 3 Ks. Max Galvin and Colin Bruggemann had RBIs.
The other game saw Madison score three times in the first and three more in the 4th. Christian Smith-Johnson had the only Woodchucks RBI. Jonathan Amonica started and took the loss.
The Woodchucks still lead the Great Lakes Wewst in the 2nd half of the season with a record of 12-3. They play at Wisconsin Rapids tonight.
