EMSC upgrades magnitude of earthquake in Chile region to 7.3

(Reuters) -A magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck Antofagasta in Chile on Thursday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.

The quake was at a depth of 128 km (79.54 miles), EMSC said.

EMSC had earlier pegged the magnitude at 6.8.
