MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — It took awhile for the Milwaukee Brewers offense to wake up on Monday night but they finally did in an 8-3 win over the Atlanta Braves at American Family Field.
The Brewers plated eight runs between the fifth and 8th innings.
Willy Adames, Rhys Hoskins and Jackson Chourio hit home runs. Adames drove in three while Hoskins and Chourio had two RBIs each. Joey Ortiz also had an RBI.
Colin Rea went 5 1/3 giving up two runs on three hits with 6 Ks.
The Brewers, now 61-45, will host Atlanta again tonight…pre game show at 6:35 on WSAU.
