WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Wausau Police seized a significant amount of meth from a west-side home Friday morning.
According to a Facebook post officers with the Community Resource Unit and Central Wisconsin Narcotics Task Force teamed up to serve a warrant at the unspecified address. They seized more than 170 grams of the drug along with needles and other items.
Officers did not specify how many people were at the home at the time of the raid, or how many arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
The post added that “[Wausau PD is] making strides in combating drug-related crime and keeping our neighborhoods secure,” and encouraged anyone who sees illicit drug activity to come forward with their tips.
