WASHINGTON DC (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers lost Saturday and Sunday to the Washington Nationals in DC.
Saturday the Brewers fell behind 5-0 giving up four runs in the first inning. Aaron Civale gave up all five runs on seven hits in four innings of work.
Rhys Hoskins homered for Milwaukee. Jackson Chourio and Gary Sanchez had single RBIs.
On Sunday the Brewers fell behind again 4-0. A three run 8th inning rally came up short. Sanchez homered and drove in two. William Contreras also had an RBI.
Milwaukee falls to 62-49 on the season. They have an off day Monday and will start a series in Atlanta on Tuesday night.
