DUBAI (Reuters) – A huge fire that broke out on Monday in fuel tanks on Iran’s side of the Iran-Afghanistan Dogharoun Special Economic Zone at the border has been extinguished, Iran’s state media reported.
“The fire injured four people up to now and has been put out. The cause of the incident is still being investigated”, state media said.
The incident had led to the halting of activities in parts of the special economic zone, according to state media.
The fire caused partial damage to the fuel storage infrastructure, state media added.
