ROME, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Rome Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in locating a teen who has gone missing.
At 6:47 on Thursday night, the police received a report about 14-year-old Christopher Smits Jr. going missing. He bought camping supplies and informed people he was going to locate a campsite. He was last seen at approximately 3:55 PM at Sherwood Lodge in the Town of Rome.
Chris weighs 120 pounds and is 5’11”. His eyes and hair are both brown, and he was last seen wearing a gray pair of Crocs with a gold strap, a dark-colored T-shirt, jeans, and a black baseball cap. He was on a black bicycle.
