MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Brewers broke a 0-0 tie on a Rhys Hoskin’s home run in the 8th inning to beat the Reds, 1-0. The Brewers have won 5-straight and are now 16-games above .500.
Hoskins has now hit safely in 14-games, a career high.
Rookie pitcher Tobias Meyers worked into the 8th inning, striking out 9 and allowing only 3-hits. Devin Williams struck out the side in the 9th to earn the save.
The Brewers are now 8 games ahead of the Cardinals in the NL Central.
