MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers beat the San Francisco Giants 5-3 on Wednesday night at American Family Field.
The Brewers scored five runs in the fifth inning highlighted by a William Contreras two-run homer and made them stand up.
Blake Perkins had two RBIs and Jackson Chourio also drove in a run.
Freddy Peralta pitched six scoreless innings with eight Ks. Devin Williams pitched a scoreless 9th inning for the save.
The Brewers, now 76-56 and still nine games up on the Chicago Cubs, will play the Giants this afternoon…pre game show at 12:35 on WSAU.
