SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. (WAOW-WSAU) — Two people are dead after a single vehicle crash in Shawano County Thursday.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, it happened just after 5 p.m. on Elm Road in the Town of Bartelme.
First responders responded and found a car engulfed in flames.
The Stockbridge-Munsee Fire Department responded and put out the flames.
Deputies found one man and one woman dead on the scene. Both had been ejected from the car. Their identities are not being released right now.
The investigation into what happened is ongoing.
