MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU)– For the second day in a row the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Milwaukee Brewers in extra innings. Wednesday it was a 3-2 win as the Cards.
After Eric Haase tied the game with a solo homer in the 8th, the Cardinals were able to score the eventual game winner with a base hit off Hoby Milner in the 10th.
The other two Cardinal runs scored on bases loaded walks in the first inning.
The Brewers have dropped two straight and lead the Cubs by nine games in the Central. They have Thursday off before hosting the Colorado Rockies this weekend.
