GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Following practice in Brazil on Thursday, the Green Bay Packers released their final injury report before taking the field on Friday against the Eagles, providing fans with a mix of good and bad news.
According to a post on X from the team, second-year tight end Tucker Kraft (back), rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring), and second-year running back Emanual Wilson practiced on a limited basis on Thursday. In contrast, wide receiver Romeo Doubs (hand), rookie linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hip), and second-year cornerback Carrington Valentine (hamstring) were full participants.
By Friday at 3:00 p.m., the Packers and Eagles will each be able to promote up to two players from the practice squad and the Packers may use one of those slots to add a running back behind Josh Jacobs such as Ellis Merriweather in case Lloyd or Wilson isn’t able to play or is on a snap count.
If Kraft is unable to play on Friday, the Packers will need to turn to Ben Sims to play alongside Luke Musgrave since they are the only two other tight ends currently on the roster.
