MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Brewers ended a three game losing streak with a 5-2 win over the Rockies on Saturday night. The Brewers are the only team in Major League Baseball that hasn’t had a four-game losing streak this season.
Willy Adames and Gary Sanchez hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning. William Contreras added a two-run homer. Milwaukee jumped out to a 4-1 win before recording the win.
Rookie Tobias Myers gor the win, with a career-high 11 strikeouts. He’s 7-5 this season.
The Brewers are still in first place in the NL Central at 82-60. They’re 10 games ahead of both the Cubs and Cardinals.
The Brewers and Rockies conclude their series on Sunday with a 12:35pm broadcast on WSAU.
