SAN FRANCISCO, CA (WSAU-MetroSource) The Milwaukee Brewers held the San Francisco Giants to five hits during a 3-0 win at Oracle Park.
The game was tied heading into the top of the seventh before Willy Adames scored on a wild pitch. Jackson Chourio hit a two-run home run in the next inning to give Milwaukee some insurance.
Frankie Montas earned his seventh win after striking out eight and allowing just two hits in six innings, while Devin Williams picked up his 11th save.
Milwaukee has a nine-game lead in the NL Central race. The Brewers are 9 games ahead of the Cubs and 10 games ahead of the Cardinals.
The play the Diamondbacks tonight at 8:05pm CT on WSAU.
