PHOENIX, AZ (WSAU) – The Brewers jumped out to a 13-0 lead, and beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 15-8 on Saturday night.
Willy Adames had two home runs including a grand slam. He now has 32 homers in the season, a new career high.
With the Cubs losing on Saturday, the Brewers magic number to clinch the NL Central is down to 3.
The Brewers will play for a sweep Sunday afternoon. Lefty DL Hall (1-1) will start for Milwaukee. Game coverage is at 2:35pm CT on 93.9-FM The Game.
