GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers will have their franchise quarterback back on the field on Sunday for the first time since Week One.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jordan Love is expected to return to the Packers starting lineup against the Vikings only two weeks after he sprained his MCL against the Eagles in Brazil.
If Love wasn’t able to play on Sunday, backup quarterback Malik Willis, who helped the Packers defeat the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans, would’ve started for the third straight game, head coach Matt LaFleur informed reporters on Friday.
Additionally, rookie offensive lineman Jordan Morgan will be sidelined for the second straight game due to a shoulder injury, while starting cornerback Jaire Alexander remains questionable and fellow cornerback Carrington Valentine is also doubtful to play.
