Marquette Golden Eagles
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Marquette mens basketball team held off a second half rally and beat Central Michigtan 70-62 on Monday night.
The Golden Eagles went off to a 42-27 lead at halftime but were outscored by seven in the second.
Stevie Mitchell led Marquette with 17 points. Chase Ross and Kam Jones had 12 each. Jones added five rebounds and eight assists.
Marquette is now 3-0 and will play at Maryland on Friday.
