TOWN OF SCOTT, WI (WSAU) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has identified the 32-year-old victim of Wednesday’s fatal UTV crash in the Town of Scott.
Ryan Adams of Merrill was driving the machine along Scott Road when he lost control and flipped into the ditch.
First responders said Adams was unconscious and subsequently declared deceased. The male passenger, age 40, was ejected from the UTV and suffered serious injuries. He was transported by air to a hospital. He has not been identified, and officials haven’t given an update on his condition.
As of Wednesday, the crash remains under investigation.
Responding agencies included Merrill Police and Fire Departments, Medivac Air 2, and the Wisconsin DNR. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.
